The 6 trendy colours of the fall/winter season of 2019

Colours are the heart of fashion, and each year they change. From the catwalks, and a first peek at the fall/winter collections of 2019, we can already tell what hues are going to be trending in the next season. They're all bright colours, despite the hues usually associated with the season.

But what are they? Here's how Pantone named these trending colours and which maisons are using them.

Super Lemon

The yellow hue now trending is called Super Lemon, but it is not the only one, as it leads together with pastel and canary yellow. Valentino chose thie hue for a total look: cloak, dress, hat, white bag and black boots.

It is a colour that perfectly combines with different shades of the same colour, with black or white, but that is also perfect with some red or light blue details.

AutumnGlory

AutumnGlory is the name given to this deep, warm orange shade, completely opposing with the cold temperatures of the season. Salvatore Ferragamo decided to use it for a total look, but both "pieces", blazer and trousers  can be matched with black, brown, sand or even green.

Grenadine

The shade of red trending in the fall/winter of 2019 will be Grenadine, as an homage to the bright, deep and elegant pomegranate juice colour. Chanel dedicated a tailleur to this colour, combining it with both elegant and sporty accessories. With this colour, different hues can be combined, as well as many different materials.

Carmine Rose

Carmine Rose is hoe Pantone chose to name the pink we'll see trending this year. An intense, powerful shade, far from the typical pastel pink. Jacquemus went for a  fearless total look that can be combined with fluo colours and white, or even with black.

Bachelor Button

Bachelor Button is the name of the light blue shade we'll be seeing this year. A light blue going into turquoise, intense and typical of fall. Balenciaga chose various combinations, matching Bachelor Button with cyan, sand and sea green.

Nautical Blue

Nautical Blue is the last shade on the list of the colours we will see trending this year. In combination with typical beach-like colours like light blue, white and ochre. Boss, for example, opted for a combination with light blue, but the matches one can make are truly endless and all perfect.
