How does Scalapay work?

Scalapay is an innovative system that allows customers to buy immediately by paying in 3 equal installments of the same amount without any interest!

Select Scalapay as your payment method at checkout.


After confirming your order details, you will be prompted to log into your Scalapay account to complete your payment. If you don't have one, you can create one from the Scalapay login page before finalizing your order.

Add a debit, credit or prepaid card from which installments will be taken.

Wait for the approval of the payment, once received, with the finalization of the order will pay the first installment, the following will be charged in the next two months.


An email will remind you of the payment of the installment.

 

 

Installment due dates


At the time of purchase you will be immediately charged the first installment. The next 2 installments will be charged monthly.

  • First installment: at the time of purchase
  • Second installment: 1 month from the day of purchase
  • Third and last installment: 2 months from the day of purchase.

Scalapay will inform you a few days before the expiration of each installment via SMS and email.

If one or more of the scheduled installments are not paid correctly by the due date, you will be charged a late payment fee. If you have not made a payment before the scheduled due date and the automatic payment fails, you will have 24 hours to complete the payment. If this does not happen, Scalapay will charge late payment fees as explained below:

  •  Payment made by the due date = no additional fees!
  •  Payment made more than 1 day late = up to 6 euros extra charge
  • Payment made more than 1 week late = additional €6 (in addition to the first fee, up to a maximum of €12 per payment).

The total cost of fees may not exceed 15% of the loan value (second and third installments).

 

Accepted Payments


To use Scalapay, you must link a payment method to your account. The installments will be automatically charged to your default method.
Scalapay accepts all major credit and debit cards of the VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS circuits and major prepaid cards (including Postepay). 

All customers who place an order establish a commercial relationship with GIANNINI SRL and therefore undertake to accept delivery of their package.  If for any reason the Customer refuses the delivery of the shipment or requires the return to the sender, any shipping costs, charged to GIANNINI SRL, will be deducted from any refund due to the Customer.

Orders are shipped by GIANNINI SRL (via express courier TNT and DHL), from Monday to Friday, from 9:00-17:30 (CEST). The orders carried out during weekends will be processed from the next Monday morning.

During times of promos and/or sales shipping costs may vary.

We would like to remember our new customers that GIANNINI SRL might  require Paypal to verify the transaction, also contacting the bank counterpart, before the charge takes place on the customer's credit card. The aforementioned check might cause some delay in the shipping of your first order.

N.B.: Shipping to Russian Federation cannot be delivered to individuals.

GIANNINI SRL reserves the right to request new customers the shipping of merchandise at the address of billing.

Orders of items already available are shipped the first working day following to the order day, prior confirmation of merchandise availability and of bank verification for our new customers.

Credit card will be charged on the order day.

During the period of sales or promotions, shipping might require longer times.

In every instance GIANNINI SRL reserves the right of postponing the shipping in case of events of force majeure.

Shippings in Italy and abroad are effectuated with express courier from GIANNINI SRL. As requested by commerce laws, all shippings have attached an invoice which declares each single article value in Euro. When articles are on sale, the invoice reports the discounted amounts.

GIANNINI SRL's shippings are insured for free against theft and accidental damage insurance. Although, once that the shipping reaches destination, the insurance lose its validity.

The assortment on www.gianninishoponline.com reflects the exact availability of each item by size and color. In fact, the website is connected in real time with all the warehouses belonging to GIANNINI SRL thanks to a system created by the company MagicStore, synonymous with computer security and precision. Once the order request has been received, the Orders Department reserves the right to reconfirm the availability of the purchased items, the validity of the credit card transaction and to verify the details of previous transactions made by the Customer on www.gianninishoponline.com. In the event that the items ordered are not available, or if for some reason the order cannot be processed as requested by the Customer, the Orders department will promptly notify the Customer.

 

 
GIANNINI SRL   accepts the following methods of payment:
 
  1. Through PAYPAL (pay conveniently with your PayPal account)
    It is a secure way to pay online, without showing the number of your credit card.
     
  2. Through POS Credit card, on UniCredit circuit.

If for any reason clients are not satisfied with an order, the item(s) unworn can be returned for size exchange, store credit or refund within 14 days of the merchandise's delivery date.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS:

1. To request the authorization to return an item, the user must send a mail to resi@gianninishoponline.com in order to request a Return Authorization Number within 14 days of the merchandise's delivery date. Please, include in the email the Item Code(s) to be returned and you may state if the return is for a size exchange, store credit or a refund. Once the staff of gianninishoponline.com receive your request, they will send you a written confirmation with the Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA).

 

2. The return must be shipped by the courier indicated in the email sent to you by gianninishoponline.com. The Return Merchandise Authorization Number must be written on the consignment note, which must be filled in as indicated on the instructions in the authorization mail you received by the gianninishoponline.com Return department.

 

3. Return shipments are at the customer's expence.

5. Clients can choose between three compensation options:

 

SIZE EXCHANGE:

Items can be exchanged only when a different size or a different colour of the same Item Code is available. It is not possible exchanges for a different Item code. Free Return policy is limited to one exchange.

 

STORE CREDIT

  • It can be used one time only on a future order within 2 months from the return data;
  • It is not cumulative with other store credits;
  • It must be used in its entirety on an order that is either equal to or greater than the value of the store credit.

 

REFUND:

  • Refunds will be processed as soon as returned items have been checked and accepted. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from the client’s refund.
  • Orders paid by Paypal or by bank transfer will be refunded to the original account.

5. Returns must be delivered to the gianninishoponline.com  headquarter within 14 days from the written authorization sended by the Return Department to the Client. 

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • The Security Tag must still be intact and attached to returned items. Item(s) must not have been worn, washed or altered in any way, and must not show any signs of use. Soles of footwear must be in perfect condition and must not be marked in any way.
  • Items must be returned with all original tags, packaging and other accessories (dustbags, hangers, garment covers etc.) received with the order.
  • Shoes and other accessories must be returned with their original boxes, which must not be damaged and/or altered or used as the external parcel for the shipment.
  • Returns must be packaged in the gianninishoponline.com box.
  • In the case of defective or incorrect merchandise, clients must follow the instructions above. gianninishoponline.com reserves the right to request photographic support regarding defective or incorrect merchandise before authorizing a return for full reimbursement of shipping costs.
  • Swimwear (bikini bottoms, swim trunks, boxers or briefs) must be tried on over underwear. Returns will not be accepted if the protective hygienic strip has been removed. Items that have any sign of use or wear will be returned to the client.
  • gianninishoponline.com reserves the right to refuse returns that are unauthorized and/or not sent with the same courier as specified in the email detailing the return instructions. If an unauthorized return is accepted, gianninishoponline.com will deduct a 10% administrative/re-stocking fee from the refund.
  • gianninishoponline.com will not accept returned merchandised that does not follow the terms and conditions of the returns policy. Such items will be returned to the sender at the original shipment address

 

Right of withdrawal for the consumer (d.lgs. 206/2005)

 

The Right of Withdrawal consists in the possibility - granted to the consumer for contracts concluded outside the commercial premises (at home, by road, by mail, etc..) or for distance contracts (via Internet, by telephone, etc..) - to decide unilaterally to dissolve the contractual bond with the seller WITHIN 14 DAYS from the stipulation of the same, obtaining consequently the restitution of the price paid.

The term for exercising the right of withdrawal begins:

  • for goods, from the day of their receipt by the consumer;
  • for the services, from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

 

If the delivery of the good has taken place, the consumer is obliged to return the goods within 14 days (the postmark will attest) starting from the day of receipt of the goods.

The reimbursement of the price paid (including shipping costs) must take place free of charge, in the shortest time possible and in any case within 14 days from the day on which the seller has become aware of the exercise of withdrawal by the consumer.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 206 of September 6, 2005 (and subsequent amendments and additions), the consumer customer, if not satisfied with the products or the content of the services purchased from the Seller, may return the products or waive the right to the services and obtain a refund of the price already paid in advance payment.

 

Methods of exercise: 

To this end, the Customer must contact the Seller within 14 days after delivery of the products or within 14 days after the purchase of services, by sending a communication via email on resi@gianninishoponline.com, containing all the necessary and useful information for a correct processing of the practice of return and refund. 

This communication will necessarily contain everything indicated below: 

  • the express will of the customer to want to withdraw in whole or in part from the purchase contract;
  • the number and copy of the document (invoice - transport document) proving the purchase of the order in respect of which you intend to exercise the right of withdrawal; 
  • the description and the codes of the Products with respect to which the right of withdrawal is exercised. 

The re-credit, inclusive of shipping costs, will be made by the Seller within 14 days of receipt of the above-mentioned e-mail communication.

 

CUSTOMER SPECIFICATIONS FROM GIANNINI SHOP ONLINE

You can only exchange for a different size or color of the same item, if available. It is not possible to change the item with a different one.

The costs of cash on delivery in case of return or size change are in any case charged to the customer.

The customer can choose to offset their return with vouchers to be used in the following ways: 

  • can be used only once within 2 months from the time of return;
  • cannot be accumulated with other Returned Vouchers;
  • must be used entirely in an order of equal or greater value.
